Frequently asked questions
Direct answers about the service, launch, pricing, and limitations
These answers describe the standard approach. The written proposal and final service agreement control each client configuration.
Will callers know the assistant is automated?
The assistant should not be presented in a misleading way. Disclosure is configured based on the workflow, caller expectations, recording setup, and applicable requirements.
What happens when the assistant is unsure?
The call flow defines what the assistant may answer and when it must transfer, take a message, schedule a callback, or explain that a team member will follow up.
Can Switchboard-IQ guarantee appointments or revenue?
No. Results depend on inbound call volume, caller intent, market demand, pricing, service area, availability, and the client workflow.
Is usage unlimited?
No unlimited-usage promise is made. Call volume, minutes, messages, and integration terms are confirmed in the written proposal before activation.
How quickly can the service launch?
The launch target begins after required business information, integrations, testing, and approvals are complete. Complex or regulated workflows may take longer.
Is Switchboard-IQ an emergency service?
No. Switchboard-IQ does not replace 911, emergency services, clinical judgment, legal advice, financial advice, or safety professionals.
Is every healthcare setup HIPAA compliant?
No universal compliance claim is made. Each healthcare configuration requires review of the actual vendors, data flow, settings, safeguards, and required agreements.
Can I hear the service before buying?
Yes. Call the live demonstration at (678) 321-0826. The demo is a general configuration and will not match every client workflow.
I already answer my own phone. Why would I need this?
Answering the phone yourself still takes you off the job you are being paid for, and it stops the moment you are on a roof, under a sink, driving, or asleep. Switchboard-IQ covers the calls you cannot take rather than replacing the ones you already handle well.
I already have a receptionist. What does this add?
A receptionist is one person. She cannot take two calls at once, and she is not available nights, weekends, lunch breaks, or sick days. Switchboard-IQ is configured as backup coverage for exactly the hours a single employee cannot cover, not a replacement for her.
I already use an answering service. How is this different?
Most answering services answer a call and relay a message, which still leaves the booking and the callback to you. Switchboard-IQ is configured against your actual calendar, services, and pricing, so it can complete the booking directly instead of producing a message you have to act on.
Why not use a cheaper answering service instead?
Price alone does not capture the difference. A lower-cost service that only takes a message still leaves the booking, the follow-up, and the risk of a slow callback on the business owner. Switchboard-IQ is built around the client's calendar so it can finish the booking rather than hand back a callback list.
